‘Migrapreneurs’ is an innovative project aiming to support under or unemployed highly skilled migrants in setting up in business.

Funded by the European Commission and involving partners from the UK, France, Spain and Turkey, we are working to develop a training program and resources to support migrants in Europe to fulfill their potential.

Studies show that migrants in Europe, have a positive outcome on the national economy. But poor access to support and finance, lack of information and cultural constraints are barriers for many to setting up a business. Many also experience a severe ‘mis-match’ between their skills and the employment opportunities in the new country. ‘Migrapreneurs’ aims to raise awareness of this and provide a practical training program to help get people back on track.
